Only the stories that received the most nominations were on the final ballot. However, all of the stories that were submitted are worthy of recognition. Here you'll find a list of all the stories that were nominated organized by pairing (some fics may be f-locked). Use it as a reading list, an archive, or a place to refill your fandom tank when someone once again proclaims that the LotR fandom is dead. :-)

My apologies for taking so long to post this. A lot of it was done by hand because my merge file wasn't working the way I was expecting it to, so if there are any errors (incorrect link, a missed story or misspelled name) please let me know and I'll correct the error ASAP.

And if you haven't already, please leave a comment here with your feedback on the awards and with any suggestions for changes to the process. I haven't responded to the ones left so far because I want to leave the floor open to everyone else before I say anything, but I have read them and have been thinking of how to incorporate them into the rules.

Thanks again to everyone who participated. I'd love if every possible pair could be represented on the ballot next year, so if anyone has suggestions of comms or other places I can promote the awards, please let me know. Also, if you'd like to be a MOME cheerleader for your OTP, give me a shout. *g*

Last year I kept putting it off and putting it off until the list was never put together. So this year I forced myself to get it done in a week. The result, though, is that my proofing may be a little spotty. If I missed anyone or have an incorrect link, let me know and I'll correct the error ASAP.

Throughout this process I have filed away pieces of information that will make next year's program run more smoothly and be easier to manage, but none of the little bumps and bruises have really had any impact on the awards process itself until now. I did not budget enough time for authors to confirm they would like their stories to be on the ballot and I don't want to continue without making every effort to reach them all.

The main goal in creating this awards program was to honor as many different pairings as possible, and if the ballots are posted today two pairings will no longer have their own category and four authors who have already agreed to participate will be in limbo. (I do have a solution for them but ideally they would still be in their own categories.)

With all that in mind, I have decided to slightly revise the voting schedule this year. Ballots will be posted on August 13 and voting will close on September 15, giving me a couple more days to reach the remaining authors and everyone participating 5 weeks to read all the stories and select their favorites. Because many people already know some of the stories that are on the final ballot, I posted links to all of the confirmed stories behind the cut.

Thank you for your patience and (hopefully) acceptance of this deviation from the original plan. I believe it's the fairest solution for everyone involved.
